Free credit score to be offered by financial institution Providian Financial Corporation is going to offer its customers the ability to see their FICO credit score whenever they wish. Providian is one of many credit grantors that regularly requests credit scores on its customers to help predict potential loan defaults. Now
Providian is going to make the previously secret numbers available.
The credit reports from which the scores are computed are not likely to be part of the program. Consumers will only get to see the two main reasons for the score. To see the full report, consumers will need to order credit reports online themselves.
